antique gilded picture frame

Description

An ornate picture frame in a 19thc style. It is basically a plane to which image bitmaps have been added, including an Alpha channel. Put any sort of image you like behind it on a mesh plane of its own to serve as your "painting". Though it is basically a flat plane, the object has a baked displacement and normal map which give the frame the illusion of having a real carved relief, thus it will respond to lighting and shadows in a surprisingly convincing manner. Metalness and Roughness maps simulate the shiny gilding. The illusion will work great if the frame is almost flat against a wall, even viewed up close; viewed from other angles, however, the illusion will not be as convincing. When you first pull this object from your Inventory into your Experience, it may not be visible at first--- use your Gizmo to rotate the object around such that the image and normals are facing you; then you'll see it.
